Share your feelings with your wife. Tell her that you feel responsible for her welfare. Tell her that you want her to feel loved, valued, and respected.
Ask her what you can do to make her feel special. Ask her to describe how she wants to be treated. Take the time to listen to her and understand what she needs. Paraphrase her expectations back to her.
Take the time and effort each and every day to meet your wife’s expectations. Go out of your way to do the things that are important to her.
Finally, make sure she feels understood and give your wife the time she needs to forgive you.
